Why go for our small-scale construction site models?

The 1/16 scale is exactly half the size of our 3D Sets for adult cars. It’s small enough to be printed quickly and take up less space, but still large enough to have all the features and details you’d expect from a larger model. Small-scale models have these benefits:

• Building the model is very cost-effective. You could easily build ten of them!

• Everything is smaller, so you need fewer components with lower specifications.

• The model is more durable, making it suitable for children to play with.

• You can choose 6×4 for road or 6×6 for terrain drive!

We thought long and hard about what kind of tires to use on our smallest models. The easiest way how to make tires is to use Flex filament and print your own, or you can buy a LEGO one.

LEGO is sold all over the world. They are easily accessible, everyone has LEGO at home, and any piece can be purchased separately (via „Bricklink” e-stores). It’s not a problem at all to just buy the tires. If you are familiar with printing Flexible materials, you can 3d print tires by ourself. We made a special .stl which allows printing tires with 0% infill!

And if that wasn’t enough, we also used LEGO tires as the suspension dampers for the wheels! A cheap and easy solution!

We wanted to make the build as easy as possible for children while still maintaining all the functional features you’ve come to expect from our models.

We chose the most elegant solution. A motor with integrated transmission, which is available worldwide and can be purchased at an unbeatably low price because it is used in many electronic and robotic projects.

Thanks to the choice of a motor with transmission, the axle build is easy even for children. And of course – no motors and no bearings are required for the simple “Toy” variant.

• 3d printing files: .stl and .gcode optimized for  Prusa Mk2-3, MK4 and Prusa Mini printers, .stl for regular 3d printer with 18×18 cm bed size. The total download size is over 470 MB. Total printing time is about  6 days (Prusa MK4) of continuous printing.

What you will need:

• any 18 x 18 cm (or bigger) 3D printer, Prusa i3 recommended
• 2 kg of PLA filament needed for all parts
