What happened in January: Trip to Mount Říp & First Mogxpedition

Welcome to a new year with 3D Sets, and we’re happy to have you with us again! And if January is anything to go by, we’re off to an exciting start. It was unusually cold, but definitely not boring. Despite the winter weather, the core 3D Sets fans kicked off the year with a snowy expedition to Mount Říp – the photos turned out amazing. And as if that wasn’t enough, January also brought the very first community-named event: Mogxpedition.
Fan Expedition to Říp
When fans get together, great things happen. And the first adventure of 2026? A winter ascent of Mount Říp. Here’s what the participants had to say:

First Winter Mogxpedition
The second big adventure of the month happened in Brno, Stránská Rock, and it officially earned its name: Mogxpedition. Roman and Ondra S. took their freshly built Mogsters out onto frozen rocks and icy terrain, and the results were so good, we had to share them.
Their words say it best: “Maiden run of our two fresh Mogsters today! I still can’t get over what these little beasts can crawl over. Every time I think ‘that’s too much,’ they just keep going.” – Roman
“We took our 3D Sets Mogsters out in the wild! Frozen terrain, great atmosphere, and a few minor crashes — but hey, it wouldn’t be a proper expedition without some hiccups.” – Ondra S.
We’re starting to think there might not be a place where our models don’t look good. 😄
