3D Sets Summer MeetUp in RC Náchod: Off-road action, oval race & a great crew

On Saturday, June 21, we took our 3D Sets MeetUp to a brand-new location — RC Offroad Park Náchod.

Big thanks to RC Náchod, z. s. and the Children’s Traffic Playground for letting our models tear up their awesome off-road track and oval. It was our first time here, and definitely not the last — huge shoutout to everyone who showed up, raced, got dusty, got lost on the expedition route (oops 😅), and made the day unforgettable.

Streets, rocks & a checkpoint challenge

For on-road cars, we had a section of the traffic playground reserved for racing. The oval might have been small, but the competition was fierce. There were surprisingly few crashes, which is either a miracle or a sign of progress

Fans and 3D Sets enthusiasts also had the chance to join an orientation challenge — a mini-expedition with checkpoints. Okay, we may have overshot the ideal length a bit, so next time we’ll keep it shorter. Lesson learned! 😅

We were also stoked that SPTM (Spolek Příznivců 3D Tištěných Modelů) aka the Czech community of 3D-printed model fans, finally made it to one of our meetups! They brought their own fleet of Rescuers for everyone to try out. Thanks a ton! And let’s just say: Rescuers had an absolute blast navigating rocks, ramps, and tricky terrain. Just the way they like it.

Just the right amount of sun, dust & fun

The weather played along — sunny and warm, but not the kind that melts your tires (or your will to race). This wasn’t our biggest meetup ever (a bit smaller than Liberec or Brno), but it had everything that counts: great energy, friendly vibes, and loads of action on the tracks.

HUGE thanks to everyone who joined us and if you missed this one, no worries. We’ll be back in autumn. So warm up your printers and give those tires a pep talk!
