New category 3D Sets Mini models for kids

3D Sets Mini 4x4: Rescuer – what are the main features?

Why go for a small-scale model?

The 1/16 scale is exactly half the size of our 3D Sets for adult cars. It’s small enough to be printed quickly and take up less space, but still large enough to have all the features and details you’d expect from a larger model. Small-scale models have these benefits:
  • Building the model is very cost-effective. You could easily build ten of them!
  • Everything is smaller, so you need fewer components with lower specifications.
  • The model is more durable, making it suitable for children to play with.
  • Although the RC variant has 4×4 drive, it only requires 6 bearings! These are the same bearings you’ll find in our larger models – there are almost 40 of them in those models. No bearings are required at all for the “Toy” variant!
We thought long and hard about what kind of tires to use on our smallest model. We asked ourselves, what kind of tires can you buy anywhere and are reasonably priced?
LEGO is sold all over the world. They are easily accessible, everyone has LEGO at home, and any piece can be purchased separately (via „Bricklink” e-stores). It’s not a problem at all to just buy the tires. If you are familiar with printing Flexible materials, you can 3d print tires by ourself. We made a special .stl which allows printing tires with 0% infill!
And if that wasn’t enough, we also used LEGO tires as the suspension dampers for the wheels! A cheap and easy solution!

Create a unique color combination

You can customize the design of your 3D printed car to your liking. By changing the filament during the printing process, you can create a unique color combination that no one else has. This allows you to truly make your car one-of-a-kind and personalize it to your taste. Whether you want a bold and vibrant look or a more subtle and classic style, the possibilities are endless with 3D printing technology.

Batteries type AA

Are you new to the world of model building and not sure where to start when it comes to purchasing a charger and battery? Look no further! We have the perfect solution for you.
Introducing our AA battery-powered model – no need to worry about finding the right charger or purchasing specialized batteries. All you need is a household AA battery and you’re ready to hit the road.
Not only is this model convenient and easy to use, but it’s also budget-friendly. No need to spend extra money on expensive chargers and specialty batteries – just grab some AA batteries from your local store and you’re good to go.
So if you’re a model building beginner looking for an easy and cost-effective solution, give our AA battery-powered model a try. You’ll be up and running in no time!

An easy and affordable drive solution – Motor with transmission!

An easy and affordable drive solution – Motor with transmission!
We wanted to make the build as easy as possible for children while still maintaining all the functional features you’ve come to expect from our models.
We chose the most elegant solution. A motor with integrated transmission, which is available worldwide and can be purchased at an unbeatably low price because it is used in many electronic and robotic projects.
Thanks to the choice of a motor with transmission, the axle build is easy even for children. And of course – no motors are required for the simple “Toy” variant.

My first, sure not last model from 3D Sets. So cool! Finished building it with my son, waiting for electronics to arrive, can’t wait getting it on the road! vroom vroom vrooooom!

  2. marled88.ml (verified owner)

Môj prvý (a určite nie posledný) tlačený model. Všetko pasuje ako má. Keby bol v mierke 1/10, už by to bolo bezchybné 😉

  3. csfelton (verified owner)

Awesome model. Love the use of filament instead of small screws. Fun to drive and my kid loves it.

  4. kumzakm (verified owner)

My first printed RC car. I am deeply impressed about sophisticated level of construction. Ingenious, effective and easy going. A lot of fun during build up, a lot of fun while driving. Perfect model!
